Content-license authority — AI use-rights demo

An AI agent wants to use a licensed work — a music track, a film, a book, or a software component. The licence grants specific uses: a use_type (training, fine-tuning, inference, or distribution), a territory, and a term. KYE Protocol™ checks the action against the licence at the moment of use — ALLOW, REFUSE, or REQUIRE_APPROVAL — and seals a signed, replay-provable Evidence Pack™. DRM controls the copy; KYE proves the use was licensed — especially when the user is an AI.

All logic runs in your browser. The Evidence Pack™ hash is a real SHA-256 (Secure Hash Algorithm 256-bit) over canonical JSON, recomputable in your terminal.

1 — The licensed work + the requested use

Choose the use the agent is attempting

You hold this licence. It grants inference use in the United Kingdom for an active term, with no training right and no onward distribution. Pick what your agent attempts, then run the admissibility check.

2 — Action-admissibility gate

Five rules, in order

The gate runs five rules. Each returns ALLOW or REFUSE. A single refusal stops the determination and shows the exact reason code you receive as the licensee — the same use-rights question the EU AI Act puts on the training data behind general-purpose AI models.

    3 — Licensed-use Evidence Pack

The artefact you show a rights-holder or court

When every rule allows the action, KYE seals the Evidence Pack™. It binds the work, the resolved licence, the requested use_type, the rule results, and the decision — verifiable offline from published keys alone, valid at T=0. If the use is later disputed, the pack is the proof the use was inside the grant.

Run the check to build the Evidence Pack™.

    Honest scope

What this demo proves — and what it does not

KYE governs the authority of a consequential action on a licensed work — was this use_type, in this territory, for this term, inside the licence grant, and is that determination evidenced, replayable, and final. This is licence authority, not licence management: KYE does not store your catalogue, enforce DRM, calculate or distribute royalties, or replace your rights-management system. It reuses the canonical use_type primitive (training / fine_tuning / inference / action) from the KYE Memory Authority Rail™. The licence terms and the commercial deal remain yours.
